Waitress fans rejoice – a show-themed pie recipe book is scheduled for release on May 23. Flavors include “The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie,” and “The My Husband’s a Jerk Chicken Pot Pie.” Order it on pre-sale now on Amazon.
Broadway wears Prada
The famous Elton John has teamed up with playwright Paul Rudnick to write a musical adaptation of “The Devil Wears Prada.” Elton John, who’s composition resume includes The Lion King and Billy Elliott, and Rudnick will base the show off the ’03 novel by Lauren Weisburger and the ’06 movie, which starred Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
