Good food, wine tasting, and a La Cage themed cabaret show—what could be a better way to spend an evening?
PlayhouseSquare Community Engagement & Education Department is presenting its first annual Class by the Glass- Cabaret Saturday, November 12—which features all of the above. Class by the Glass combines food, wine and entertainment to create a fun and unique experience. Guests will receive two wine pairings- Menage a Trois California White and Cupcake Vineyards Red Velvet, along with an appetizer and dessert, all while enjoying a La Cage themed cabaret show featuring local performers. Wine and food will be provided by Bricco. Also, immediately following the event, guests can take their class ticket to Bricco and enjoy $4 glasses of select wines.
“We’re so excited to be able of offer new programming in our district,” says Collen Porter, Director of Community Engagement & Education at PlayhouseSquare. “The Class by the Glass program allows us to partner with restaurants in the PlayhouseSquare District and promote the genre of Cabaret style performance. And, who doesn’t like a nice glass of wine?”
The local performers presenting the La Cage-themed Cabaret show include Charles Eversole (Music Director of the Singing Angels), Amiee Collier, Audrey Audette (former Radio City Rockette), Rob Gibb and Monica Olejko.
