Back in August, George Hamilton, star of the upcoming tour of La Cage Aux Folles, made a visit to Cleveland in preparation for the November 8-20 run of La Cage Aux Folles in the Palace Theatre.
George visited some classic Cleveland locations during his visit, including the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and Edgewater Park.
The greatest thing about filming with George Hamilton is his natural ability to be funny. Of course, the staff here at PlayhouseSquare came prepped and ready with scripts, props, directional cues and more, but soon after meeting Mr. Hamilton every script was re-written and the rest was out the window as he hopped into the driver’s seat and let his own feelings, personality and humor take over. The afternoon with Mr. Hamilton was exceptionally comical to say the very least.
Speaking of props, notice the awesome La Cage in CLE shirts? They were made in collaboration with CLE Clothing Company.
